WOW! So glad I cought this vid before buying this p.o.s. The box says
“made in USA” in big letters all over it. Guess one needs to read the fine
print. I almost bought it local today but figured it may be cheaper online
and found this while looking. Ive had 2 made in china reels already and
they do ok for about a yr but then fail to latch.
I’ll never buy another china reel since parts are not available
    making them junk. No thanks!

Great reel. I’ve been looking at getting one from Harbor Freight that you
have to manually rewind it as I don’t use air tools very much, but it would
be nice to have a reel and hose handy for the few times I do use them.

  12. jvs rancher says:

Where did you order the reel from?

  13. donyboy73 says:

    thanks

Nice reel Dony! Have you gotten much snow up there yet? It is finally
starting to snow pretty good today here in Missouri, I will finally get to
us the snow blower I bought!! Lol.

  15. donyboy73 says:

    thank you!

I’m surprised you like the hose. The reel does look nice but I have the
same hose and it loves to coil up to its original position all the time
which I find quite annoying. Maybe I need to use it more to break it in?
I’m sure, with as much use as you give it, it has become more forgiving.

very nice ! , we have 2 of them in out shop , they are mounted on a swivel
bracket so it turns in the direction of extending and retracting.. I had
one from harbor freight but the ratcheting mechanisim was constantly
jamming .. I see you have a really good quality one that should last for
many years. thanks for posting it

I have a similar hose reel, and had it setup the same way with a quick
disconnect and smaller diameter lead in hose. The QDs and smaller hose
would really suck the life out of impact and other high volume tools. I
replaced the lead in hose with 1/2″ and did away with the QDs and it
brought everything back to life…. something to consider if you have
    issues in the future.

hey donyboy… great vids, everything is super well done and easy to
    follow. I have a 5HP tecumseh HSSK50 snowblower…it is only running on
choke for about 30 seconds and then shuts off… also backfired once. any
    thoughts? thanks!!
