Pounds is a unit of force. Pressure is a force per unit of area. Big

I own several Leathermans and a couple of SOG knives, but I’ve never
    experienced one of their mult-tools.
This video definitely makes me want to try one out.

Good review, Sootch. I have one of those and I think your review did it
justice. It’s part of my everyday carry. I bought one for my girlfriend and
she carries it in her bag (so she says, I haven’t checked. ;) Carry on,
    sir. And thank you.

Watching you flip that multi-tool open makes me think you wanna get into
    balisongs, sootch. They’re super addicting.

I have the SOG Powerlock EOD 2.0 myself. Although I prefer, and usually
carry, my Leatherman Charge TTi (with a bit set), the SOG is a really good
multi-tool, and if the pliers are the main tool that you need it’s probably
a better choice due to the compound leverage designed into it.

Since I don’t carry them for use professionally I tend to look at MT’s from
a survival perspective. For me to carry a MT every day there are certain
tools that it absolutely must have: pliers (obviously), fine edge knife,
serrated edge knife, file, saw (those 4 all need to be full size), scissors
& a can opener. An awl with a thread loop is also nice, although there is
no full size MT that I know of which combines all these items into one
tool. Oddly enough, the compact Juice Xe6 from Leatherman does have all of
these things. It’s the only MT I know of that does. (The Leatherman Surge
is an exception to that, but the saw & file are interchangeable on that
tool and can’t be mounted simultaneously. They’re also somewhat undersized
despite the large size of the MT itself.)

One of the reasons that I like my Leatherman so much, other than the large
diversity of the tools on board, is that fact that one of the sides of the
file is a diamond file. (The other side is a regular wood/metal file.)
I’ve used it to touch up the edge on a few knives & axes over the years
when I didn’t have a regular sharpener handy.

I like the Gerber “switch Blade type” but it is NOT as strong in cutting as
the SOG. It will go on my Want List. The biggest reason for liking the
Gerber is the Life Time Warranty. The seat belt cutter might be useful as a
    Gut Hook.

Interesting tech integration in this tool. I’m sold. Also, nice job
demonstrating the functions of the tool. Great review!

  9. Rikki Steel says:

I’ve used this tool and LOVE it!!

  10. Tactical Training Group says:

Great review. Would like to see the webbing cutter swapped for scissors and
a saw blade holder for one of the two bottle openers. Other than that
awesome. Great job on showing all the tools it shows in your videos that
you are a true gear user.

I really like my leatherman wave how would you think it would compare to
the sog assist I like the different tools that can be used with it. I have
used the gurber wail I was in army. I found that l liked multi tools. but,
    not the gurber

Excellent review, as always. Thank you. A multitool has been on my list of
things to get, now I know which one I want. I also bought the AK bayonet as
an SHTF knife based on your review. I love the outtakes at the end, they
make me smile every time, haha

Thanks for sharing such a fastidious thinking, paragraph is
nice, thats why i have read it completely

  27. I think what you said made a bunch of sense. But,
consider this, what if you were to create a killer title?

I mean, I don’t want to tell you how to run your blog, however suppose you added a post title to possibly get
folk’s attention? I mean SOG Power Assist Multi-Tool | Best Tools Reviews is kinda vanilla.
You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create post titles to get
people interested. You might try adding a video or a
pic or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say.
    Just my amiibo site
opinion, it would make your website a little livelier.
