People say that it has a brushless motor, do you have any idea about that?

    Good review thanks

I bought a Ryobi rotary tool about 10 years ago because it was slender, and
the body is mostly cylindrical, rather than lots of bumps and curves.
Plus, it has a dedicated power switch, and speed dial. It’s still working
fine. Too bad they don’t make it anymore. Now I’m considering to get a
Proxxon, 50 series, the slender ones. I work on tiny electronics, so the
finer the better. But I’ve never got along with the flex extender things.

Do you, or anyone else know if, by any chance, the Proxxon would work with
    the Dremel circle-cutting accessory (

Or is there such a circle-cutting accessory made specifically for the

How does this compare with the Dremel 4000?

Thanks for the review, I definitely agree that dremels are now not made to
last and a waste of money. I had two that couldn’t take occasional light
    use b4 they broke.
I am looking for a good cordless alternative.

Really good thorough review, thank you. I was almost ready to buy a dremel
4000 until I decided to do so more research and came across your review.
    Thanks Again

Thank you so much for doing this review. You saved me a lot of time. I
just purchased the exact same unit on Amazon for $77 dollars. This is a
high quality tool and the price can’t be beat. Even the case is high
quality. I love the keyless chuck to!

Interesting review. How do you like it compared to all the other rotary
tools you have owned and used in the past?

  10. Agile Woodsman says:

I think it is as good or better than others I’ve had. Old school dremels
were the best. But today, for the price, I think this is the way to go.
However, if you want to spend more, there are top of the line tools that I
hear are really great but I have little experience with those.

  11. Lian Zekun says:

Does proxxon collet and chuck fits the dremel ones?

  12. Derek Chapman says:

Good review with a simple personal opinion. Thanks!

Any time, thanks for stopping by!

  14. Agile Woodsman says:

I’m not sure if the collar and chuck will fit on any dremels, sorry. But I
think the design is a bit different so I would guess no. However many
dremel accessories do fit on the Proxxon. Proxxon has their fair share of
accessories also, so you won’t likely be missing out :)
